The Song of Minnehaha is the story of an old man looking back on his childhood when he first learned the value of books. This story is longer than the others but has a more defined plot with the traditional beginning, middle, and end. Of the short stories I have written, I feel this is the best. (4,674 words) |
Purloined Innocence is the story of a single mom confronting a teenage daughter after the mother finds drugs in the daughter's room. The mother discovers she has yet to accept the death of her husband and can no longer depend on him for help. (2,649) |
